UK customers can now reserve their place in the queue to buy Honda’s first all-electric car, which is due to arrive early next year.

Reservations for the Honda e can be made online for a refundable fee of £800, with Honda yet to confirm the official pricing for the model.

The reservation system reveals five colour options that will be available on the Honda e - Platinum White Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, Crystal Blue Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic, and Charge Yellow (pictured).

When the Honda e was first unveiled in prototype form it sparked over 25,000 expressions of interest across Europe, and Honda are hoping that enthusiasm for the new model remains as it works towards the 100% electrification of its model range over the next five years.

First seen in prototype form at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, the Honda e will have a range of over 125 miles and the capability to fast charge to 80% battery capacity in half-an-hour.
