Dacia has added the option of a six-speed automatic Efficient Dual Clutch (EDC) gearbox to its popular Duster range.
Priced from £14,895, Dacia are billing the new Dacia EDC model as the most affordable automatic crossover on the UK market.
The EDC transmission is available on 1.5 dCi powered 4x2 Duster models with Laureate or Prestige trim, resulting in a combined fuel economy of 62.8mpg and CO2 emissions as low as 116g/km. The EDC transmission also brings with it Hill Start Assist.
The new transmission is the latest upgrade to the Dacia Duster range, which has recently gained new upholstery, a DAB radio on all models from Ambiance trim upwards, new headlights, and a list of new optional extras which includes rear parking sensors, part-leather upholstery and 16-inch ‘Tyrol’ diamond-cut alloy wheels.
EDC transmission models will go on UK sale next month.
