CUPRA Formentor e-HYBRID production has begun in Spain ready for exports to the UK to start from next month.
The 242bhp version is available to order now priced from £38,625 on-the-road, with a 202bhp version to follow shortly.
The high-performance plug-in CUPRA Formentor e-HYBRID combines a 1.4-litre TSI petrol engine with an 85kW electric motor and 13kWh lithium-ion battery pack, resulting in a combined output of 242bhp and an all-electric range of up to 36 miles. It can do 0-62mph in seven seconds flat, and has a top speed of 130mph, producing CO2 emissions as low as 33g/km and fuel economy of up to 188.3mpg.
