The new Vauxhall Corsa GSi has gone on sale priced from £18,995 on-the-road.
The Corsa GSi comes as standard with 17-inch bi-colour cut alloy wheels, GSi rear roof spoiler, sports front grille, GSi air dam/bumper and side sills, dark tinted rear windows, carbon effect exterior mirrors and grille bar, LED daytime running lights, sports-style front seats, leather-covered flat-bottom steering wheel, and Navi R4.0 IntelliLink infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. An additional GSi Plus Pack, consisting of 18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, Recaro leather seats and bi-xenon headlights with cornering light, is available for an extra £1,900.
The Corsa GSi is built on the Corsa VXR chassis, and is powered by a 148bhp 1.4-litre turbocharged engine which results in a 0-62 mph time of 8.9 seconds and a top speed of 129mph. Its short-ratio six-speed gearbox enables the GSi to accelerate from 50-70mph in fifth gear in just 9.9 seconds. The engine is compliant with the latest Euro 6d-TEMP emissions standard, and returns a fuel economy of 49.6mpg combined and CO2 emissions as low as 139g/km.
The Corsa GSi will arrive in showrooms from September, but is available to order now at Vauxhall retailers.
