The new Citroen C5 Aircross SUV will be priced from £23,225 on-the-road when it goes on sale at the start of next month.

The C5 Aircross will come equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 8-inch HD touchscreen as standard, as well as Wireless Smartphone Charging and 20 safety and driver assistance technologies including Advanced Active Safety Brake, Active Lane Departure Warning, and Active Blind Spot Monitoring.

Grip Control with Hill Descent Assist will also be available for those who want off-road adventures in their C5 Aircross. A brand-new Prgoressive Hydraulic Cushion suspension is standard across the range.

Feel, Flair, and Flair Plus trim levels will be available, all powered by a range of Euro 6.2 compliant PureTech petrol and BlueHDi diesel engines. A PHEV plug-in hybrid, a first for the manufacturer, will follow in 2020.

The iconic Airbump panels give the C5 Aircross a robust feel, as do large wheels, ground clearance of 230mm, and roof bars. There is a choice of 30 exterior colour combinations thanks to seven body colour options, an optional Perla Nera Black roof on Flair and Flair Plus models, and three Colour Packs adding inserts on the front bumper, Airbump panels, and under the roof bars. Cabin personalisation options include Standard Ambiance with Silica Grey cloth seat upholstery with a light grey strip at the top of the seat backs, Metropolitan Grey Ambiance with a tone-on-tone colour scheme of Grey Grained leather and Graphite cloth seat upholstery with a dark grey strip on the seat backs, and the Hype Brown Ambiance with Brown Nappa leather and black leather-effect seat upholstery, a light grey Alcantara strip at the top of the seat backs, brown console, dashboard inserts and instrument panel hood, and a two-tone black/brown full-leather steering wheel.

The three individual, sliding, folding and reclining rear seats, help offer an impressive boot volume ranging from 580-litres up to 1,630-litres. The light and airy cabin can be optimise with the addition of a panoramic opening sunroof.

UK order books for the new model open on 3 December, ahead of an official showroom sales launch of 4 February.
