The annual Cholmondeley Pageant of Power takes place this weekend and promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

Cars on display will include the Aston Martin One-77 and the Maserati GranTurismo Stradale. The Lamborghini Aventador, the new Porsche 911 Carrera S and the Ariel Atom V8 will also be present, and will be competing to break the Cholmondeley circuit track record which was set by Nikki Faulkner in a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera two years ago.

One of the highlights of the show will be the Brutus, a vintage BMW with a 47-litre aeroplane engine which develops 500bhp.

Bikers are well catered for too. A collection of superbikes will be on display at the Pageant's Ace Café and a 500cc Moto Guzzi concept, which held the record as the fastest Grand Prix motorcycle for twenty years, will be ridden by Double European Trials Champion Sammy Miller. TT Racer John McGuinness will also be riding the latest Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade around Cholmondeley's sprint circuit.

On top of this, the Pageant will play host to a collection of Bond Cars. The cars on display will include the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish from 'Die Another Day', and the BMW Z8 from 'The World Is Not Enough'.

Visitors will also have the chance to take passenger rides in a variety of machines including helicopters, powerboats, hovercrafts and tanks.

A fireworks display and concert will be held on Saturday night.

The Cholmondeley Pageant of Power runs from 15th June to 17th June and day passes cost from £26 for adults and £5 for children when ordered in advance.
