Caterham Cars have added a new option pack and the choice of a wider bodied chassis to its Seven 620 model.
The ‘S’ pack includes a heater, full windscreen, hood and side screens and leather seats as well as road springs and dampers. Priced at £44,995 fully-built, the 310bhp Caterham Seven 620S also features the uprated brake master cylinder and limited-slip differential found on the race-orientated 620R, with which it also shares carbon fibre interior panels and dash and lightweight flywheel. The 620S sits on 15-inch Orcus wheels, has a five-speed manual gearbox, and is available to order now with deliveries expected the commence later this year.
For an additional £2,500, the Seven 620 is now be also available with the wide-bodied S5 chassis. Wider and longer than the standard S3 chassis, benefits including added interior and luggage space, and a larger fuel tank.
For the first time Caterham is also offering heated seats as an option across the range. The 620R’s carbon seats can be upgraded to heated for an extra £395, while the 620S’ leather seats can be upgraded to carbon seats for £600, or £995 for heated carbon seats.
