The Vauxhall Corsa was the UK’s most popular new car in September, with 12,921 sold.

Corsa topped the sales charts as customers rushed to purchase new 69-plate cars.  The latest model is the fourth generation Corsa, and more than 2.1million Corsas have been sold in the UK since the model first hit the roads in 1993.

With both the Mokka X SUV and Insignia models topping their respective segments too, September was a spectacular month for Vauxhall.  The brand also became the UK’s second best-selling van maker, with a 12.94% share of the LCV market.

In all, Vauxhall has outperformed a struggling market so far in 2019, and the brand now accounts for over 7.5% of all cars and light commercials sold in the UK.
