The new Aston Martin Vanquish S has gone on sale priced from £199,950.
Production of the S specification version of the second generation Vanquish has already begun at Aston Martin’s Newport Pagnell plant, with deliveries to commence next month.
A 592bhp 6.0-litre V12 lies under the hood of what the manufacturer bills as the ultimate super GT. Larger inlet manifolds and an 8-speed Touchtronic III transmission help put that power on the road. Likewise, the suspension, damper internals, spring rates and anti-roll bar bushes have also been re-tuned to give the Vanquish S optimised performance.
Distinguished by a new aerodynamic package, the Vanquish S features exposed carbon fibre, revised front splitter and rear diffuser, and quad exhaust outlets. Options include carbon fibre bonnet louvres, forged 5-spoke diamond turned wheels, and a choice of painted graphics packs.
Inside the Vanquish S is quilted leather, Satin Chopped Carbon Fibre fascia panel, and Vanquish S embroidery on the headrests.
Dr. Andy Palmer, Aston Martin President & CEO said: “From the moment the original Vanquish was launched it became a modern icon. It propelled Aston Martin from an era of hand-built cars to one where craftsmanship and technology combined to create a new kind of great British GT.
“In its second generation the Vanquish maintained that momentum with huge engineering advances such as its all-carbon fibre bodywork and compelling, contemporary styling.”
