The all-new Vauxhall Corsa has gone on UK sale priced from £15,550 on-the-road.
Order books are open now for the new model, with first deliveries to commence early in the new year.
The entry-level 1.2i SE petrol manual version comes equipped with 16-inch double spoke alloys, 7-inch touch-screen radio, leather flat-bottomed steering wheel, and LED Headlights with LED daytime running lights. Entry-level diesel-powered models are priced from £17,560 on-the-road for the 1.5D SE.
SRi models gain 16-inch Hurricane alloys, LED Front Fog Lamps, power rear windows, e-call, exterior-line styling pack, tinted rear windows, black roof, alloy sport pedals, Sport Mode, LED taillights, chrome-tipped exhaust, and rear parking sensors. Elite Nav trim includes 7-inch touch-screen navigation system, electric folding door mirrors, fabric/premium leather-effect trim, ambient LED light, chrome DLO, panoramic rear view camera, parking sensors both front and rear, Sight & Light Pack, and Winter Pack. Range-topping Ultimate Nav models, which carry a price tag of £25,990 for the 1.2i petrol eight-speed automatic, boast 17-inch diamond-cut alloys, 10-inch touch-screen navigation system, leather seats with driver’s seat massage function, IntelliLux LED Matrix headlights, Radar Pack, keyless entry and start, electronic climate control, and electric park brake.
An all-new engine line-up is cleaner and more efficient than those offered in the outgoing Corsa model. The entry-level 74bhp 1.2-litre petrol engine is joined by a 100bhp, three-cylinder, direct-injection turbocharged 1.2-litre all-aluminium powertrain, and a 100bhp, three-cylinder, 1.5-litre diesel unit. All provide sub-100g/km of CO2 emissions, with the diesel as low as 85g/km. In a further boost to efficieny, the new Corsa’s lightweight design trims up to 108kg off the car’s weight compared the previous generation model.
