Images of the new SEAT Leon in action for the first time have been revealed.
The new Leon, which is due to arrive in the UK this Spring, was photographed on its home turf near Barcelona, giving a glimpse of what can be expected from the new model. All-new styling includes enhanced aerodynamics, LED headlights, longer bonnet, and improved upright visibility.
Power options include petrol, diesel, mild-hybrid, and plug-in hybrid versions. The latter combines a 1.4-litre TSI petrol engine with a 13kWh lithium-ion battery pack and a six-speed DSG transmission. A full charge is possible in under 3½ hours using a 3.6kW AC charger. Zero emissions driving of almost 40 miles is possible by using electric power only.
