New images of the upcoming, all-new fifth-generation Vauxhall Corsa have been released.
New Corsa’s lightweight design results in a 10% weight reduction compared to the current model, boosting performance, handling, and efficiency in the process. Despite this, the new Corsa retains similar dimensions to its predecessor as well as five-doors as standard.
It will also be the first car in its class to feature adaptive, glare-free full-LED headlights, bringing the Corsa in line with bigger stable-mates the Astra and the Insignia. The glare-free matrix headlights automatically and continuously adapt to the prevailing traffic conditions.
New engines reduce fuel consumption and emissions while retaining similar power levels. The entry level 1.2-litre petrol is joined by an award-winning three-cylinder, direct-injection turbocharged 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel, as well as the recently announced all-electric Corsa-e. Gearbox options range from a five-speed manual to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The all-new Corsa will also include front collision warning with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection, intelligent speed control and limiter, lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, Multimedia Radio, Multimedia Navi with 7.0-inch colour touchscreen, and the option of Vauxhall Connect telematics.
