Audi's all-new A5 Coupé is on its way, and according to the German manufacturer it is lighter, more intelligent and even more sophisticated than its predecessor.
The clinical and striking new styling brings the new A5 in line with all of Audi's latest designs and the use of Audi's Intelligent multi-material construction methods has trimmed 60kg from its previous incarnation, making the new A5's body the lightest in its class.
The new coupe is also more spacious, both inside the cabin and with more luggage space in the boot. But for those more interested in performance there is of course a new S5 on its way too, boasting a turbocharged V6 TFSI engine which delivers 354PS and 0-62mph in 4.7 seconds.
Ordering is expected to open towards the end of the summer.
