The much anticipated debut model from Mercedes-Benz’s all-new EQ electric vehicles brand has gone on sale.
The new Mercedes-Benz EQC 4MATIC is priced from £65,640 on-the-road for the EQC 400 4MATIC Sport, and is powered by an 80 kWh lithium-ion battery with a 408bhp output and a range of up to 259 mile. The EQC 400 $MATIC Sport hits 62 mph from a standing start in just 5.1 seconds, and has a top speed of 111 mph.
Other features include a EQ-specific MBUX multimedia system with range display, charge status, energy flow, voice-activated ‘Hey Mercedes’ virtual assistant, and an optimised navigation which bases its calculations of the fastest route taking into account the shortest charging time and nearby charging points.
EQC Sport models come as standard with Active Parking Assist with a reversing camera, Blind Spot Assist, Mirror package, Keyless-Go Comfort package, Multibeam LED Headlights, Seat Comfort package with electro-pneumatic four-way front seat lumbar support, heated front seats, 19-inch five-twin-spoke alloy wheels, 10.25-inch touchscreen media display and instrument cluster, and 64-colour ambient lighting.
AMG Line models are priced from £67,580 on-the-road, adding an AMG twin-blade black panel radiator grille, AMG leather sport seats, carbon fibre trim, running boards, 20-inch multi-spoke AMG alloy wheels, an AMG front apron in a jet-wing design, and air inlets and trim parts in chrome with inserts in high-gloss black.
AMG Line Premium start from £72,280 on-the-road and add an electric sliding roof, Burmester surround sound system, ENERGIZING package, MBUX Augmented Navigation, smartphone integration, and wireless charging.
AMG Line Premium Plus, priced from £74,530 on-the-road, add MBUX Interior Assistant, head-up display, Parking package with 360o camera, and memory seats.
The special Edition 1 model builds on the Sport trim with the addition of an electric sliding roof, MBUX Augmented Navigation, ENERGIZING package, Burmester surround sound system, a choice of black or polar white paint, leather upholstery, 20-inch ten-spoke alloy wheels, smartphone integration, and wireless charging. The limited edition EQC Edition 1886 builds on Sport trim with MBUX Interior Assistant, Driving Assistance package, Parking package with 360o camera, electric sliding roof, Memory seats, Burmester surround sound system, ENERGIZING Comfort, wireless charging, head-up display, 20-inch ten-spoke alloy wheels, smartphone integration, and MBUX Augmented Navigation.
