Vauxhall VXR8 Overview
There are three different versions of the Vauxhall VXR8 available, the 6.2 Clubsport 4dr, the 6.2 GTS 4dr and the 6.2 GTS auto 4dr.
The VXR8 is a truly brilliant performance car, which can swallow a family and their luggage. It is practical but very expensive to run.
Background
The VXR8 was introduced to the United Kingdom in July 2007 and has recently received a face lift based on the HSV E3 GTS.
The Vauxhall VXR8 really began when the Australian HSV Clubsport was first put into production in 1990, originally offered as a 4 door sedan with a 5.0 L Holden V8 engine.
The first product was known as the VN series. After 7 more variants between 1991 and 2006, the E Series was put into production. The E Series itself then spawned 3 new derivatives with the E1 series, the E2 Series and the E3 Series, with the E3 series providing the basis for the current Vauxhall VXR8.
The Vauxhall VXR8 has always been, more or less, a re-badged version of the Holden E Series.
Overview
The Vauxhall is a brilliant performance car which packs quite a punch. Despite the low buying price, the money that you saved will quickly be spent on running costs.
