Infiniti EX Overview
The steering is light, which makes low-speed manoeuvres relatively simple, and road grip is very good. The refinement of the EX is excellent on the whole, with little noise intrusion even at high speeds, although the diesel engine is a little louder.
The stylish exterior design is matched throughout the inside of the cabin. The fit and finish of the model is very attractive and the touch-screen control system is very functional. Head and legroom is decent in the front seats. Space in the rear of the car, however, is very limited and the boot is not as large as that of rivals.
The level of equipment provided with the Infiniti EX is very generous. Keyless entry, heated leather seats and an excellent stereo system all come as standard, with upgradable options such as satellite navigation available.
Background
The Infiniti EX was first produced in 2008.
The model was based on the concept vehicle that was unveiled in 2007 at the New York Auto Show.
The EX sports a 7-speed automatic transmission and can accelerate from 0 – 60mph in just over 6 seconds with the 3.7 litre petrol engine. The car has a top speed of 149mph.
Summary
The Infiniti EX is a 4x4 that boasts impressive performance and an attractive exterior. It comes with a lot of standard equipment and could make a great family car, although rear seat space is limited and will not be suitable for adults for long journeys.
