Toyota is set to unveil a new hybrid concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month.

The Toyota Hybrid-R will be unveiled in Frankfurt on 10 September, the first day of the biennial motor show.

Although very little information on the new car has been released, Toyota has confirmed that the concept will feature the same technology fitted to the firm's FIA World Endurance Championship car, which came second at this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Unfortunately, Toyota has yet to release an image of the Hybrid-R, allowing us only a glimpse of the car's badge.

More information will be prior to the Hybrid-R's Frankfurt debut.
