Suzuki will use September's Frankfurt Motor Show to unveil its new iV-4 compact crossover concept.

The new concept previews the styling direction the company will take with its new compact SUV which will form part of Suzuki's expanded model line-up when it goes on sale in 2015, rivalling the likes of the Nissan Juke.

Designed with a theme -- "Grab your field", whatever that means -- the new car inherits a number of prominent design features from other SUVs in the Suzuki line-up such as the Grand Vitara and the Jimny. The iV-4 gets the clamshell bonnet and five-bar front grille which have become a hallmark of Suzuki's SUVs.

The Frankfurt Motor Show begins on 10 September and is open to the public between 12 and 22 September.
