SEAT's Leon Cup Racer will make its UK debut next weekend when it takes on the famous hill climb at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The Leon Cup Racer is an all-new racing car which has been designed and developed by SEAT to emphasise the company's commitment to motorsport.

Under the bonnet, the Cup Racer gets a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine developing 325bhp and 251lb-ft of torque. The power is sent to the front wheels through either a six-speed DSG automatic gearbox or a sequential manual racing transmission.

Racing teams are able to register their interest in buying the Cup Racer now, with the car costing from 70,000 euros plus taxes.

Also on the SEAT stand at the Goodwood Festival will be the new Ibiza Cupra, the five-door Leon and the three-door Leon SC.
