In case you haven't heard of them, McLaren Special Operations (MSO) is a crack team of fifty engineers whose sole purpose is to make your McLaren one-of-a-kind.

MSO were responsible for the X-1 concept shown at last month's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, and spend much of their time designing bespoke cars for wealthy McLaren customers.

This is their latest project, dubbed McLaren Bespoke Project 8.

At customer request, an F1 and an MP4-12C have been modified heavily to include lots of carbon-fibre and red and white leather. McLaren has not released any official details on BP8, and we can only speculate as to the changes under the bonnet.

And although BP8 might not to be to your tastes (and let's face it, you'd have to fairly blind to think that this paint job was a good idea), it just goes to show how far MSO are willing to go to create your dream car.

So, if you fancy your own bespoke McLaren (and are rich enough to consider the standard MP4-12C cheap) why not give MSO a call?
