Dubai-based car tuners King of Customs Garage have pulled off one of the most bizarre car modifications we've ever seen. What they've done is taken a standard Nissan Patrol and given it a central driving position, just like a McLaren F1.

However, it's here where the similarities between the F1 and the Nissan Patrol end, because while you'd steer a McLaren F1 from the front seats (rear seats, of course, being unavailable), the Patrol has been specially modified so it can be driven from the back seat.

The steering wheel, the pedals, in fact all of the controls you need to operate the car have been moved from the front seat to the middle rear seat. 'Why?' we hear you ask. Well, we're not quite sure.

On the one hand, it would be easy to criticise the chaps at King of Customs Garage for the pointlessness of this endeavour; however, we're not going to do that. Instead, we salute their creativity and bask in the warm glow of the bonkers-ness of their creation.
