Maserati will be bringing its new Quattroporte Ermenegildo Zegna Limited Edition concept car to the Frankfurt Motor Show next week.
In case you weren't aware, Ermenegildo Zegna is an Italian fashion house which... er... does fashion stuff. Like designing coats. And hats. Now, however, they've turned their attentions towards Maserati's four-door luxury saloon and have given the car a new colour scheme, new materials and a special new paint finish.
Maserati claims that the exterior of the new Quattroporte Ermenegildo Zegna "simulates the fluidity and purity of metal" with a new paint finish which contains ultra-fine pigments of aluminium. On the inside, as you'd expect, you'll find lashings of leather and a colour scheme which is designed "to emulate Zegna's latest men's fashion collections, conveying a formal, sophisticated character."
So basically then it's just a normal Quattroporte with some new paint and leather. Inspired. However, we'll forgive it this due to the fact that, like all Quattroportes, it looks absolutely stunning.
And the good news is that although it's just a concept at this stage, Maserati claims it will be going into production next year.
