Infiniti has revealed new version of its Q50 saloon which has been designed specifically for business users.

Dubbed the 'Executive', the new Q50 will go on sale with the rest of the Q50 range next month, featuring a range of extra equipment, including sat-nav, heated and powered leather seats with memory and Infiniti's I-Key system.

The Q50 will be available in both SE Executive and Premium Executive trim levels with either a manual or an automatic transmission. A 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine will be fitted to the car, offering 168bhp and 295lb-ft of torque, giving a 0-62mph time of 8.5 seconds.

With 64.2mpg on offer in the manual car and 58.9mpg in the automatic, the Q50 Executive offers CO2 emissions figures of 114g/km (manual) and 124g/km (automatic). Infiniti claims that this means the Q50 offers competitive benefit-in-kind tax bills for drivers.

Prices for the Q50 Executive start from £29,870 for the manual car in SE Executive trim, rising to £35,020 for the automatic in Premium Executive trim. Order books are open now.
