Jim Glickenhaus has revealed that he is preparing to build a successor to the sensational Ferrari P4/5 one-off sports car.
For those of you who haven't heard of Jim Glickenhaus, he's an American movie director turned stock exchange magnate with a penchant for exotic cars. In 2005, he was approached by the Italian design house Pininfarina, who asked him if he'd be interested in commissioning his own car.
Glickhenaus accepted, telling Pininfarina that he'd like his car to be based on an Enzo but to look like one of the legendary Ferrari P racers of the 1960s. The result was the car you see above: the Ferrari P4/5.
Now, however, it seems that Glickenhaus is busy developing an all-new model, which currently has the codename P33.
Very little is known about the new car but Glickenhaus did reveal some crucial details in a post on ferrarichat.com.
The new model will be a lot smaller than the P4/5 and with a target kerb weight of around 725kg -- thanks to a carbon-fibre chassis -- it will be a lot lighter too. Power will come from a twin-turbo V6 engine, developing around 500bhp.
The P33 will also reportedly incorporate an innovative 'three-wing' design.
The new Glickenhaus P33 is scheduled to go on display at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
