A Cambridgeshire vicar has been criticised for displaying a bumper sticker on the rear of her car which reads 'WTFWJD?'

The slogan -- a humorous take on the popular phrase 'What Would Jesus Do?' -- has been stuck to the back of Rev Alice Goodwin's Subaru Legacy for seven years; however, the story was picked up by the national media following an anonymous complaint to the vicar's local newspaper in Cambridge.

Rev Goodman has defended the sticker, claiming that the former Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, had not raised an issue over after seeing the sticker.

Goodman also defended the sticker on the charge of blasphemy, saying: "F**k is not a blasphemy, it's a vulgarity, an Old English word.

"My bishop knows I have the sticker on my car, and has no difficulty with it, and I have had the former Archbishop of Canterbury in my car, Rowan Williams, and he didn't raise an eyebrow."

Goodman went on to say that those who have complained about the sticker should "get a life".

She may have a point...
