How do you fancy getting your hands on one of the most recognisable cars in the world?

This 1960 Volkswagen Beetle, the star of such films as 'The Love Bug' and 'Herbie Goes Bananas' is up for sale; however, you're going to need pretty deep pockets to afford him.

You see, the car you see in the photos is one of only seven 'Herbies' still in existence, and is on the market at £96,000. Which is a lot.

It's an especially high sum when you consider that the Volkswagen Beetle is essentially rubbish; an underdeveloped rot-box with miserable performance, and the dubious distinction of being commissioned by a certain Herr Hitler.

However, this is unlikely to put die-hard Herbie fans off.

Herbie has a hydraulic bootlid, flashing headlights which look left and right, and four wheel steering.
