A CCTV camera captured the moment an errant tyre punched a hole through the centre of a BP petrol station sign.

The rogue tyre scored a perfect bullseye, smashing straight through the centre of the sign on the A1 in North Muskham, Nottinghamshire.

No one has come forward regarding the incident.

BP area manager James Kemp said, "A vehicle coming down the A1 at speed lost one of its tyres that then bounced at speed and height down the A1 towards our site."

Luckily no one was injured and the tyre has not been seen since. We wonder if it's keeping a low profile. Ahem.
