Ladies and gentlemen, we give you the Dacia Duster limousine.
It was created by a group of 23 students as part of Dacia's Engineering Projects Auto Program. The car was sawn in half and 59-inches of sheet metal were welded into the gap, creating a car that's over 19-feet long.
Inside, the Duster is fitted a television, an Android tablet and four leather captain's chairs. The whole car is finished in matte black.
The question is -- could this be the world's worst limousine?
It's up against some pretty stiff competition. Most limos are stretched versions of godawful American luxury cars, and the less said about the Hummer limo the better.
If we're being honest, we're being a bit harsh on the little Dacia -- it's by no means a 'bad car'. However, you do have to question the point of turning one into a limo. Isn't a limo supposed to be a bit flash, a bit garish? Turning a £9k 4x4 into a hen-night special seems to us to be totally missing the point.
Dacia has not revealed whether the Duster limo will reach production. We doubt it.
