With more than 34 million cars on the road, it's getting harder and harder to find a parking space when you need one.
However, if you happen to live in the Cornish seaside town of St Ives, finding that elusive parking space could be about to become a whole lot easier. If you've got £50,000, that is.
That's because five car parking spaces have just gone up for sale in the picturesque West Country resort, each commanding the rather eye-watering sum of £50k.
And it's fair to say that the move has not met with the approval of some of the locals.
Andrew Mitchell (the St Ives town councillor, not the sweary Tory MP) told the Daily Mail: "It sticks in the throat of local people.
"It shows the mismatch in St Ives and many other Cornish villages and towns between the local population on low wages and seasonal jobs and second home owners.
"It is ridiculous that many of those that live here can't afford a home. They can't even afford one of these parking spaces."
If you fancy snapping up one of these prime pieces of real estate, they're going up for auction on 28 November.
