Skoda has revealed the UK price list for the new Rapid, which goes on sale on 12 November.
The entry-level Rapid S starts from £12,900, while the top-of-the-range Elegance is priced from £17,850.
Four petrol engines and one diesel will be available, mated to either a five- or six-speed manual, or a seven-speed double-clutch automatic gearbox.
All models come with remote central locking, curtain airbags, daytime running lights, leccy front windows, a height-adjustable driver's seat and a rake/reach-adjustable steering wheel.
SE models add 15-inch alloys, body-coloured mirrors and door handles, air-con, trip computer, a leather steering wheel and Bluetooth.
Elegance models get 16-inch alloys, cruise control, cornering front fog lights, chrome interior detailing and a four spoke, multi-function steering wheel.
The Rapid is the first car to feature Skoda's new design language, which was first shown by the VisionD concept at last year's Geneva Motor Show.
