SEAT has announced that it will now offer a new, better value, fixed price servicing deal for cars aged between three and ten years old.
According to SEAT, the new comprehensive servicing offer means that owners of older SEAT cars can access the main dealer service, with the quality and expertise that you get from going direct to the manufacturer, whilst paying 'local garage' prices. This is backed up by a local price promise to help reassure buyers that they are getting the best possible value for money.
The offer, which is being promoted by SEAT under the name 'It's Fixed', will mean that a minor service will now cost £129 RRP. This price includes parts, labour, and VAT, and is available for any SEAT model. A major service with the same terms will now cost £249, and an MOT will be £39.
The idea behind the new scheme is to give motorists peace of mind by letting them know exactly what their servicing costs will be up front, with no nasty surprises, so that they can more easily budget for all necessary costs. In the same spirit the firm will also be introducing transparent fixed process on a wide range of maintenance jobs for SEAT cars of the same age. These include an air conditioning service for £69, brake pad replacement for £99, alloy wheel refurbishment for £59 and a cambelt change for £299.
To go along with the new prices, which are now available from SEAT dealerships nationwide, the firm have also put together an annual budget planner.
SEAT point out that the 'It's Fixed!' programme offers a number of advantages over an independent garage. With extra items like pollen filters, spark plugs and fully synthetic oil provided for no extra charge the offer represents excellent value for money, but the company is also aiming to provide customers with a high quality service. Of course all of the parts and labour are covered by a two-year manufacturer warranty, and are fitted by SEAT specialist, but you also get a free Vehicle Health Check too. Also you get some nice freebies, such as a full wash and vacuum for your car, and 12 months free SEAT Roadside Assistance including Home Start (worth between £99 and £240) with ever minor or major service.
For convenience SEAT are also offering a 'while-you-wait' service, and participating dealers are even providing a 'collect and deliver' service or 'courtesy lift' - which means that when an owner drops off their vehicle, the dealer will take them to their destination and then pick them up again free of charge. Or if you prefer to always be in the driving seat yourself, a loan vehicle can be provided for you from £12.50.
