Royal Mail Commemorate the E-Type’s Half Century | Industry - Car News Apr 2011

A limited-edition set of postage stamps is being released in honour of the iconic Jaguar E-Type.

The car first wowed the crowds with its sleek, long-bonnet styling when it was unveiled at the 1961 Geneva Motor Show.

In celebration of the E-Type’s 50th birthday the Royal Mail is using close-up shots of the car’s stylish design on a set of commemorative stamps. 

A £4.10 sheet features ten stamps - each with a different image of the E-type -and are available now.
