Renault are celebrating the life of the former Queen front-man Freddie Mercury with a special edition Twizy.

And in doing so, they have answered a question literally nobody was asking; namely: what would Freddie Mercury look like if he was a small French electric car?

So, the Twizy comes with a white and yellow paint job to match the legendary singer's trademark stage costume, and a moustache, to match the legendary singer's... er... moustache.

We'll stop laughing now because the Twizy has been created for a good cause. It was donated by Renault to the Mercury Phoenix Trust, a charity set up by Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor to raise money and awareness for the fight against AIDS, the disease that killed Mercury in 1991.

The Twizy raised over £7,000 for the charity at the annual 'Freddie For a Day' event, held at London's Savoy Hotel on 5th September -- Mercury's birthday.
