Normally we wouldn't consider a new marketing campaign newsworthy, but we were so impressed with Nissan's innovative approach to promoting its Note that we thought we'd share it with you.

The advert takes the form of a digital flip-book, but instead of flipping through the pages to reveal a moving image, you scroll down a page on Nissan's Japanese website with your mouse-wheel.

The animation shows a couple getting into their Note and driving away, and is accompanied by a virtual tour of the car.

Take a look on the Nissan website and see it for yourself. By the way, the website's in Japanese, so unless you can read the language, you're not really going to learn much about the car.
