Euro NCAP safety testing has been completed on two of Vauxhall’s latest models, with both passing with flying colours.

Vauxhall Opel's Engineering Vice President Rita Forst said of the Astra GTC and Zafira Tourers results, "Passenger safety has always been high on our agenda, and we are pleased not only to have met the safety standards with Astra GTC and Zafira Tourer, but to have surpassed them."

The Vauxhall Astra GTC will makes its first showroom appearance next month, having been available to order since June, while the new Zafira Tourer can be ordered from November 1st with the first examples to hit the showrooms in February 2012.
