If you've ever fancied getting behind the wheel of an all-American muscle car, you're in luck.

British Car Auctions (BCA) is set to hold an auction of US muscle cars from the fifties, sixties and seventies.

Eight cars will go on sale at the initial auction at BCA Nottingham, including three Corvettes, two Pontiac GTOs, a Chevy Camaro, a Pontiac Firebird and an extremely rare Plymouth GTX.

All vehicles on sale have been restored and are supplied with the necessary documentation including, in some cases, details of the restoration work. A full 12 months MOT is also supplied with every car sold.

Tim Naylor, BCA spokesman, said, "The opening sale includes a selection of very desirable Americana and we expect this and the future sales to attract interest, not just from UK buyers, but from much further afield."

The first auction takes place on 21st June at BCA Nottingham, with viewing starting from 9.00am. Further auctions are planned for 19th July and 16th August, with monthly auctions planned thereafter.
