Mercedes-Benz has confirmed the pricing and specification details for the new CLA four-door coupe.
The CLA is available to order now, with prices starting from £24,335.
Mercedes is offering the new CLA -- the world's most aerodynamic car -- with a choice of two engines: a 1.6-litre four-cylinder petrol in the CLA 180, and a 2.2-litre diesel engine in the CLA 220 CDI.
Of the two engines, the diesel is the more powerful with 170bhp. It will propel the CLA from 0-62mph in 8.2 seconds and on to a top speed of 143mph, while emitting 117g/km of CO2 and returning 62.8mpg. The petrol, on the other hand, develops 122bhp, hits 62mph in 9.3 seconds and will do 130mph flat out. CO2 emissions stand at 130g/km and fuel economy 50.4mpg.
Standard equipment across the range includes Attention Assist, Collision Prevention Assist, Active Park Assist, 5.8-inch colour touchscreen, Bluetooth, Aux-in, USB connectivity, dual-zone climate control, twin stainless steel exhausts and rain-sensing wipers.
Two trim levels are available: Sport and AMG Sport. Sport models get comfort suspension, 18-inch alloy wheels and sports styling, while AMG Sport models get AMG wheels, sports suspension and AMG styling.
The CLA 180 in Sport trim is priced from £24,355, while CLA 180 AMG Sport models start from £26,555. CLA 220 CDI models start from £29,355 in Sport trim, rising to £31,555 in AMG Sport specification.
