This is the Aston Martin DBR1 which Carroll Shelby and Roy Salvadori drove to victory in the 1959 Le Mans 24 Hours in 1959.

Except it isn't.

What it is, is a 1:1 Airfix kit of said car. The entire parts tree (as we've been reliably informed it is called) is over 20 feet long, 11 feet high and weighs more than half a tonne -- only around 250kg lighter than the actual racer.

It has been built by a company called Evanta and features fully upholstered sears and a Mota Lita steering wheel. It is also comes with a racing cap signed by Messrs Shelby and Salvadori.

The DBR1 goes up for auction at the Goodwood Revival next month and is expected to fetch more than £20,000.
