These images show the wreckage of Jeremy Foley's Mitsubishi Evo following his crash at the Pikes Peak hillclimb.
Both Foley and his co-driver Yuri Kouznetsov were lucky to survive when their car slid off the road at the Devil's Playground corner and fell over 100 feet down a 45-degree slope, rolling over fourteen times.
As you can see, the car is an absolute mess; however, luckily for Foley and Kouznetsov, the car's safety cage remained relatively intact, providing both occupants with enough space to survive.
And although the forces experienced in the crash were severe enough to rip the passenger's seat clean off its steel mountings, the Evo's engine and transmission are both still in working order. Blimey!
