Ford claims that the latest incarnation of the Transit is the biggest van in the world, boasting an impressive 13,790-litres of cargo space.
The trouble is, 13,790-litres is quite hard to visualise, and short of loading 13,790 cartons of orange juice into the back of the van, there's no easy way to make that figure spring to life.
Or is there? Ford has enlisted the help of the Peel P50 -- the smallest car ever made -- in demonstrating the capacity of the Transit's voluminous cargo bay. The tiny car is driven into the Transit, and, just under two minutes of monumental faffing later, driven back out again, this time the other way around.
Yup, Ford has proven that it is possible to perform a fifteen-point turn in the world's smallest car within the confines of the new Transit.
