Not content with merely fitting its 500 with the 0.9-litre TwinAir engine, Fiat have gone the extra mile and created a whole range based around the two-cylinder petrol power plant.
Released in two levels - the TwinAir and TwinAir Plus - the new 500 comes with black alloy wheels, sports seats, chrome exhaust and burnished metal adornments on the dashboard. TwinAir Plus models also come with a leather multi-function steering wheel, leather gearknob, tinted windows and climate control - rather than the air-con fitted to the standard TwinAir.
The 500 TwinAir will be available as both a hatchback and a convertible and prices will start at £11,600 for the TwinAir and £12,700 for the TwinAir Plus. Running costs will be very reasonable with excellent fuel economy and CO2 emissions of 95g/km.
