The Fiat 500 won the title of ‘City Car of the Year’ at the 2012 BusinessCar Awards.

The annual BusinessCar Awards, voted for by readers of the BusinessCar magazine, gave this year's title of 'City Car of the Year' to the Fiat 500, making 2012 the fourth year in a row that it has won this award.

The Fiat 500 is priced from £9,960 and is available with a choice of engines and trims. The editor of BusinessCar magazine Paul Barker commented on the Fiat 500's popularity with the publication's readers, saying:

"Fiat's 500 has again proved to be a business car market favourite, and Fiat's advancement with its TwinAir technology has enhanced the excellent city car's appeal to the sector. The readers of BusinessCar are obviously fans of the 500's combination of fun and frugality, having picked it as their favourite city car for the fourth year in a row."

The Marketing Director for Fiat Group Automobiles UK and Ireland Elena Bernardelli accepted the award, saying:

"Four entries and four straight wins is wonderful news and a great tribute to the Fiat 500, which continues to appeal both to private customers and fleets. The 500 is a car that thousands of people want to have as their own, but it's good to see how popular it is as a serious business tool too."
