Right, I'll just kick off (see what I did there?) by saying that I know the square root of diddly squat about football.
It's not that I especially dislike the sport, far from it; however, I just fail to see the appeal of watching twenty-two overpaid and developmentally-subnormal hairdressing enthusiasts kick a pig's bladder about for the best part of two hours.
Nevertheless, I put my prejudices aside and made an effort to sit down and watch the snooze-fest which was the England vs. Ukraine world cup qualifier on ITV last night. After all, there was nothing else on except 'The Great British Bake Off' and, even for a soccer cynic like me, watching professionals kicking a ball around a field trumps watching amateurs sticking pies in an oven.
I also had a vested interest in last night's match as my employer, CarSite.co.uk, played a prominent role in the game -- a more prominent role, it would seem, than some of the England players.
Displayed prominently right next to the left-hand-side corner flag (and under an England flag placed there by some northerners) the CarSite moniker took most of the attention away from the dazzling display of mediocrity on the pitch. It also stole the limelight away from another banner for a rival website, Motors.co.uk (no, I've never heard of them either) further down the pitch and a half-time advert for a website called Auto Trader (again, never heard of them).
So, now that you've read about CarSite.co.uk's impressive international debut, why not take a look at our list of footballers' cars?
