Here at CarSite.co.uk, we love the Dacia Duster. We love its simplistic, rugged charm and its complete lack of pretentiousness.
But most of all, we love its low price.
However, an Indian tuning company by the name of DC Design clearly has different ideas and has created a tricked-out, blinged-up version of the Duster. And on first glance, we'd have to say that we approve whole-heartedly of the result.
Think of the DC Duster as a sort of Lidl-spec Overfinch Range Rover. On the outside, the Duster gets a snazzy matte-black paint finish and a redesigned front end with lashings of chrome.
On the inside, the Duster is swathed in more leather 'n' wood than an early-90s Rover 800. There are also electrically-adjustable seats and a television screen in the back of the driver's headrest. And what's more, the front seats fold flat to create beds, which means that, technically, you could sell your house in order to finance it.
Not that you'd have to. In fact, DC is charging just 3.49 lakh rupees -- just over £4200 -- on top of the price of a basic Duster, bringing the car's total price up to a smidge over £13,000.
So, a bona-fide customised off-roader for less than the price of a top-spec Ford Fiesta. Tempted?
