Alfa Romeo has launched a new Fast and Furious 6 Limited Edition Giulietta to celebrate the car's appearance in the latest instalment of the popular film franchise.
Just six examples of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.4 TB MultiAir 170-bhp FF6 Limited Edition, to give the car its full name, will be made.
Now, given the sort of automotive exotica normally featured in Fast and the Furious films, you could be forgiven for thinking that the Giulietta FF6 is a nitro-glycerine-fuelled 1,000,000bhp monster, with undercar lighting and Lamborghini-style scissor doors.
Well... no. As a matter of fact, the Giulietta's 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine still develops 170bhp and doesn't appeared to have been lowered. And although it's not made explicit in the photos, we'd imagine that the Alfa's doors open horizontally too.
What Alfa has done, however, is fit a small numbered plaque signifying the car's limited edition status, as well as a dashboard signed by the cast of the film, including Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.
On top of this, buyers of the Giulietta FF6 will also be invited along to what Alfa calls a 'once in a lifetime stunt day', with a genuine stunt co-ordinator from the film industry.
The Alfa Romeo Giulietta Fast and Furious FF6 Limited Edition is priced at £25,675 and is only available through Motor Village Marylebone in London.
