The Fox was first produced in 2004 but wasn’t introduced in Europe until 2005.
Since its original production the Fox hatchback hasn’t been updated at all, there have however been some variation versions made. The Volkswagen CrossFox was first put in to production in 2005 for the Latin American markets, however it is expected to be brought over to Europe in the future. It is small 4x4 version of the Fox which has front wheel drive.
Volkswagen has designed the Fox to be larger than the car it is replacing, yet smaller than the Polo. The car has been built taller than its predecessor in order to improve cabin space without enlarging the car’s exterior design. The car can comfortably seat four adults.
