PROS: The cult looks of the Beetle will be the main pulling point for this VW, especially with the added benefit of the open top. It also has great safety features and is a high quality car.
CONS: The driving experience is not remarkable with this cabriolet and it is not the most practical car, rear visibility when the roof is down is also an issue.
The Beetle reaches 125 mph as its top speed and can travel from 0-62 mph in 9.3 seconds. The power output of this car is quite strong at 147 bhp and it has torque figures of 162 lb-ft at 2000 rpm.
The visibility with the hood up is pretty bad and the performance is mediocre, though a markable improvement from the 1.6 Luna model.
Alloy wheels come as standard, but metallic paint is an extra £465.
Air conditioning is fitted as standard, but climate control is not available. Electric door mirrors and electric front windows are standard, but leather seats will cost an additional 1,615 to be fitted.
