The engine sizes for the 508 consist of a 1.6 litre, a 2.0 litre and a 2.2 litre and both petrol and diesel options are available as well as a micro hybrid version. The 508 can have a fuel economy anywhere between 44 and 64 miles per gallon.

The Peugeot 508 was introduced 2010 as a replacement model for the 407 and the 607 and has the same platform as the Citroen C5 and was put into production. It interior has grown a lot when put against its predecessors, yet it is actually lighter.
