The Korean revolution continues. The i20 is a great little car and at less than £10k, is good enough to tempt buyers away from Fiestas and Corsas. Not without its faults, but not bad at all.
Hyundai i20 1.2 Comfort 5dr - February 2012
Another great car from Hyundai, the i20 Comfort is a practical car, best suited for a small family. It is comfortable, powerful enough and can pack up to five adults and small luggage. A low as...
Hyundai i20 1.4 Comfort 5dr - March 2012

Hyundai I20 Overview

With light steering and terrific road grip, the car delivers an impressive driving experience. Handling is good and the ride is a smooth and comfortable one. Moreover, the i20 is incredibly well refined, with very little noise intrusion even at high speeds.

The i20 makes for a good family vehicle, with space to comfortably seat four adults. Five is somewhat of a tight squeeze but can certainly be done. Head and legroom is plentiful in the front and adequate in the rear, while the boot is well designed and generously sized.

The interior is a little bland but the level of standard equipment is pretty good. Entry level models are all equipped with air conditioning and electric windows, while alloy wheels and MP3 connectivity are amongst some of the features available to upgrade with.

The Hyundai i20 was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in 2008.

The car is available with a wide range of engines, with three transmissions – 4-speed automatic, 5-speed manual or 6-speed manual.

The smart hatchback received a maximum five star safety rating from Euro NCAP, and was named by the organisation as one of the top five safest cars of 2009.

The Hyundai i20 delivers a smooth and refined driving experience, and boasts excellent fuel economy. The spacious hatchback makes a great family car and represents good value for money.
