Ford S-Max Overview

Emulating the sleek and smooth exterior of the Ford S-Max is a spacious cabin with a high quality fit and finish. Head and legroom is plentiful for the first and second row seats and adequate for the two seats at the back, which can be folded down to enlarge the boot space.

In addition to comfortable and supportive seats, the S-Max comes with a lot of equipment. Bluetooth, dual-zone climate control and front and rear parking sensors are standard even for entry-level models. Cruise control, leather seats and a USB input socket are amongst the available options to upgrade with.

Fuel economy is decent and the S-Max makes a fantastic family vehicle.

The Ford S-Max was unveiled at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show and went on sale later that year.

The car is available with a wide range of engines and 5- or 6-speed transmissions (manual or automatic).

The Ford S-Max was given a minor facelift in 2010.
